Summary

When Sarah is not working as a college instructor, she works as an environment artist, 3D modeler, and illustrator. She has always had a love of film, games, and nature and incorporates those loves into her work. In addition to her teaching and industry experience, Sarah also brings a diverse artistic and professional background which includes professional photography, studio art, graphic design, and jewelry design.

Sarah has worked as an Assistant Professor of Art and the Director of Art and Digital Media at Bethany College. She taught various courses in the Digital Media and Studio
Art majors, from 2013 to 2025 at Bethany College and continues to teach part time at
Johnson County Community College. Sarah has a BFA in 3D Animation and over fifteen
years of experience in the production industry and is currently earning her MFA in

    Supervising faculty and adjunct instructors and overseeing operations of the department as well as full time instructor for a variety of subjects specializing in 3D Animation, Game Design,

    and Art Majors as well as various recruiting and administrative duties for the department. Previously part time instructor, received promotion in 2021.

    Coordinated with award winning fine artist Pamela Spika to design and maintain a

    website for her fine art business.

  • 3D Modeler at City of Lindsborg
    Lindsborg, US
    November 2018 - May 2019

    Created a 3D Model of a relief sculpture design for the 150th anniversary of the

    city of Lindsborg. The sculpture was designed and cast by Ed Pogue. The 3D

    model was created using Autodesk Maya to be used as a 3D printed mold for

    the sculpture.

  • Interactive Product Designer at Harper Industries

    March 2016 - May 2019

    Created assets and custom online configurator for Harper Industries line of work

    truck beds using Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine. Modified existing 3D models,

    textured, lit, and rendered them for the configurator as well as coded and created

    interactive UI in Unreal Engine.
